Last week, we told our story about how we started getting involved in our community. The Backpack Program was just the first step for our involvement with the United Way and the communities of New Mexico.
Through our Backpack Program, we have provided over 10,000 meals to hungry students and their families in New Mexico. We are proud of our commitment to our society.
In addition to donations, our CEO, Janice Lucero, has taken her commitment a step further. Janice sits of the Board of Directors and often volunteers her time and energy to the organization. She often travels to other businesses to tell the story of how we got involved with the United Way and to encourage them to do the same.
In our community, a little help goes a long way.
