Thanks to everyone who helped kids get back-to-school with needed supplies.

At MVD Express, we know how important it is to give back to the community that does so much for us. Our company and our employees regularly complete volunteer work and contribute in other ways to charitable organizations all over the state. Last week, six members of our management team were happy to participate in a program aimed to help students get back to school. For a few hours, our team organized and stuffed backpacks full of paper, rulers, Kleenex, pencils and other supplies that will help less fortunate children have the resources to perform well in school. In total, we, and the other volunteers, were able to help fill two giant trucks full of backpacks to send off to students.

Mattress Firm and Channel 4 were the driving forces behind the event. And our volunteers were organized by Diane Lacen, our HR Director, who is always looking for a way to pay it forward and do something good for someone else. This Thursday, we are thankful for the opportunity and privilege to give back to our community through volunteering or donating. Thank you for allowing us to serve you!
