What trees do for us is essential, even if it is not obvious. They provide shelter, fertilization, create habitats for wildlife and maintain a healthy ecosystem for all of us!

New Mexico is home to some beautiful tree species like the Rio Grande Cottonwood, the New Mexico Olive, the Piñon Pine, the Desert Willow and more! Here at MVD Express we want to show our appreciation for the beautiful trees that dot our desert landscape. We recommend planting trees in your community, taking hikes in our national parks and forests, attending a class on tree and plant care or volunteer with a local tree-planting organization like Tree New Mexico, which is dedicated to ensuring sustainable forests in urban and rural communities and natural areas through restoration, public education and advocacy.
