Although we didn’t get much in Albuquerque, parts of New Mexico got a good dusting of snow last night. With temperatures staying pretty chilly today, there’s a chance that the dusting of snow could continue. This Thursday, we’re thankful for the bit of moisture that we’re getting here in New Mexico, even if it’s just a little bit of snow. We can use all that we can get right now!
If you’re traveling through parts of New Mexico that have received snow, please drive safely! Remember to give yourself extra room between your car and the one in front of you, always keep your eye on the road and respect the speed limit. Double check for black ice, especially over bridges. If you aren’t sure if the driving conditions are safe, travel at a slower speed or pull off the road. That also means that you should have an emergency kit with blankets, food and water packed before you leave home. Don’t leave anything to chance! Drive safely!
