It’s seriously so close that you can almost feel the wind rushing through your hair as you drive down the freeway. The moment you’ve been waiting for is almost here.
There’s just one major roadblock standing in the way of you and complete freedom and absolute bliss: your road test.
We know it doesn’t sound like fun. And we’ve all been nervous for it, just like you. So what do you need to know about acing the road test? Read on…
The Most Important Thing you can do for yourself to pass the Road Test
We’ll be honest with you. After all, we are rooting for you to pass! The most important thing that you can do for yourself is to practice. Practice in the morning, practice when it’s dark out. Practice parallel parking while cars are waiting for you in a crowded area (after practicing in a low-stress situation first!). The most important piece of advice we can give you is to practice until you can do these things with absolute confidence. On test day, you’ll already have put yourself outside of your comfort zone and should feel confident!
The Second Most Important thing you can Do
Know the rules of the road. Making sure that you’re following all traffic laws and paying attention to road signs will get you a better score on your test. Review the written materials with the traffic laws—and practice them! That way, you’ll be relaxed and ready instead of nervous on test day.
Well, we can’t guarantee that you won’t be nervous! But you can prepare yourself so that feeling is minimized.
