As we prepare for a new year, people often take time to reflect upon the previous one. They start to think about all the things they did, like welcome a new baby into the world, or the things they didn’t do, like win a hugging contest with a bear. Sometimes, people look back and reflect on the good that they did for the community.

This Thursday, we’re thankful for those who give back to the community in any way they can! It can be as simple as buying Girl Scout cookies from the adorable girl standing outside the supermarket. Or it can be as committed as volunteering for a full-time position in an organization that really needs some extra help.

Our Story of Giving

As a locally-owned and operated business, we love to give back to our community. Whether it’s packing backpacks full of food or donating our time and resources to a charity, we’re always trying to find ways to help. In fact, during this time last year, we filled 11,102 backpacks for Roadrunner Food Bank! During this holiday season, we encourage you and your family to consider volunteering your time and skills to a charity that is near to your heart. There are a lot of charities out there who could use an extra hand–or two!
